The Malthouse Theatre, with an audience capacity of 334, has flexible stage and seating configurations, an orchestra pit, as well as superb technical and backstage facilities. Throughout the year, the theatre programmes professional events and stands proudly as The King’s School, Canterbury’s centre of Drama.

 

Audiences will enjoy bar facilities, a cloakroom and box office and a stunning exhibition space in the foyer. The Malthouse also houses dance and drama studios, top quality sound and lighting equipment, prop and costume stores as well as dressing rooms and changing rooms. The Theatre and studios are also available for community and corporate hire.
