Junior Kings School

The King’s School, Canterbury welcomes corporate events and provides a prestigious and historic backdrop to your day. Entertain your top clients, incentivise your work colleagues or bring together like-minded business groups. Our team are happy to work with you to tailor a full programme to suit your requirements and ensure your event is both memorable and successful. We provide first class hospitality from the moment you arrive, with catering to your specific menu choices.

Junior King’s School is set in eighty-acres of stunning countryside, on the banks of the River Stour, located just 2 miles from the City of Canterbury. Formally the home of Lord Alfred Milner, the Tudor house and grounds were gifted to the school by his family and opened as Junior King’s School in 1929 by Rudyard Kipling. This hidden gem of a venue offers couples the perfect “Garden of England” backdrop for your corporate event.

Impress your clients as they arrive through the main gates and follow the drive towards the 16th century Manor House with ‘secret’ garden and orchards. The Tithe barn sits proudly on the manicured lawn and is one of the oldest buildings on the Junior King’s site, dating as far back as 1580. The stunning landscaped gardens and orchards provide the perfect outdoor space for teambuilding activities. A range of classrooms for workshops, and meetings also are available.
